Mongolian carrier MIAT has ordered a Boeing 767-300ER and a pair of 737-800s.
The US airframer disclosed the agreement during the week of the Paris air show although it was signed at the State Department in Washington.
No engine selection has been disclosed for the 767. All 737-800s are powered by CFM International CFM56 engines.
Boeing said the order, at list prices, is worth $245 million and takes total 737 orders to 8,888.
"[This] marks the first time in more than two decades that MIAT Mongolian Airlines will extend its route network by purchasing Boeing airplanes instead of leasing them," it added.
MIAT chief Orkhon Tseyen-Oidov said the jets were the "ideal airplanes for us to expand our existing fleet to offer more scheduled and charter services from Mongolia to major cities in Asia and Europe".
Boeing Flight Services will provide pilot and technician training.
