Honeywell has extended an aftermarket support deal with US regional operator GoJet to include 25 Bombardier CRJ700 aircraft.
The deal, which Honeywell values at $4.5 million, has an expiration date of 2023. Honeywell has provided maintenance of its products featured on GoJet aircraft since the airline was established by Trans States Holdings in 2005.
Equipment built by Honeywell covered under the deal includes its enhanced ground proximity warning systems (EGPWS), start control valves and air turbine starters installed on GoJet's CRJ700s. Bombardier's recent delivery of six aircraft to GoJet has increased the number of aircraft covered under the Honeywell maintenance agreement from 19 to 25.
The standard equipment built by Honeywell featured on the CRJ700/900/1000 jets includes the auxiliary power unit and installation kit, air turbine starter, EGPWS and mechanical components.
