Bell Helicopter has formed a new business designed to provide support to any helicopter in military service. BellAero will give logistics support, maintenance services, plus design and production for aircraft support equipment. Bell says the company's mission is to give high quality support at affordable prices for both domestic US and international military customers. Bell has also authorised two dealers, Hillsboro Aviation of Oregon and Helistream of California, to sell the Bell 206B-3, 206L-4 and 407 models for the first time. Jeff Pino, senior vice-president for Bell's commercial business unit, says: "These aerospace companies have demonstrated great success in terms of aircraft sales, flight training and aircraft related services. "By implementing a US distribution network we will increase our market coverage and points of contact substantially."
