Pilatus has enlisted Bond girls for its NBAA mission: to reveal the "best kept secret in business aviation."
The Swiss manufacturer of the PC-12 NG single-engined turboprop is stressing the aircraft's economic and performance credentials at the show.
"Compared with its rivals, it's the perfect solution if you are a company that wants a cost-conscious and environmentally friendly solution, but still needs to move people around speedily and in comfort," says vice-president marketing Mike Haenggi.
Pilatus finalised a deal at the show to sell the factory demonstrator PC-12 NG on its stand to Stamford, Connecticut-based Polymer Resources, whose chairman Les Klein was on hand to accept the keys to his new aircraft. The turboprop will be used by the company's management and technical staff.

Klein said: "We examined a number of candidate aircraft for our company and it was very obvious that the PC-12 NG captured the greatest number of key mission requirements."
The deal was arranged by Pro Star Pilatus Center, the factory authorized PC-12 sales and service center for New England, New York, New Jersey, Delaware and Michigan.
Ever wondered how aircraft on display in the exhibition hall get there? Pilatus says work to bring the PC-12 - the largest aircraft on indoor display - to the Orange County Convention Center starts weeks before the show begins. The demonstrator was partly dismantled and fuselage and wings carried on separate semi-trailers from Orlando Executive airport, unloaded by crane, and reassembled on the stand.
