Universal Weather and Aviation (Booth 219) has launched an enhanced version of its free online aviation weather video broadcast, Aviation Weather Today. It features higher frequency posting times and the ability to watch individual chapters of the broadcast. It is available for demo at the company’s stand.

“These enhancements are based on feedback and recommendations from viewers utilizing the broadcast to supplement their daily flight planning process,” says Randy Stephens, senior director, specialty products. “Feedback on Aviation Weather Today has been overwhelmingly positive. Over 96% of our viewers indicated via survey that they like and would watch it.”

Aviation Weather Today can now bee seen thrice-daily at 6am, noon and 6pm CST and has added a new Sunday broadcast at 6pm with a weekend outlook segment to be posted at noon on Fridays. Viewers are able to select which sections of the broadcast they want to watch. Stephens says: “Segmenting the broadcast into chapters is a time save for our viewers.”
