Gulf Coast Avionics has completed the first installation of a Garmin G600 avionics retrofit package. The installation on a Twin Commander 690C aircraft required the design and fabrication of new panels on both the Pilot’s and Co-Pilot’s side. Rick Garcia, president of Gulf Coast Avionics, says: “A panel upgrade like this provides all the benefits of flat screen technology, while adding value and years of useful life to the aircraft.”
