Liberty Aerospace is offering a surveillance version of its XL-2 two-seat light aircraft, which received US certification in March, aimed at search and rescue, reconnaissance, border and maritime patrol and environmental monitoring markets as an alternative or supplement to helicopters. Its price is around $350,000.
