Boeing will conduct first flight of the 787-10 on 31 March, subject to weather and other factors.
The maiden flight will be operated by a 787-10 equipped with Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines. The aircraft is also offered with General Electric GEnx powerplants.
Boeing is exclusively assembling the 787-10 in North Charleston, South Carolina - where the jet rolled out in a February ceremony headlined by US President Donald Trump.
The largest variant of the 787 family is scheduled for first delivery in the first half of 2018. Boeing has secured 149 orders for the 787-10.
