The first NH Industries NH90 for the Italian army had its maiden flight on 15 September from AgustaWestland's Vergiate plant. The Italian manufacturer will assemble 60 NH90s for the army, 56 for the Italian navy, 20 for the Dutch navy and 14 ordered by Norway.
