Online business aircraft charter provider, Victor is poised to make its formal launch into the US market, signifying the next phase of the UK-based company’s strategy to become the leading name in ad hoc charter worldwide.
The company unveiled the service just under three years ago in the European market, and now has around 120 partner operators with 800 business aircraft serving thousands of customers worldwide.
"We already fly to, from and within the US, but we haven’t established a formal presence there," says Victor founder and chief executive Clive Jackson. "We have a lot of momentum in the US and this market is huge. Now is absolutely the right time to launch," he continues. "We hope to have our first office up and running by the end of the month, or early in the third quarter."
Victor has already made a "significant and strategic" acquisition in the US, and is now "finalising partners", Jackson says. New York and Miami will be home to the first two bases, he continues, then Victor will expand to the west coast. "After that we will look at Asia," he says. "Our plan is to have a base in all major time zones by the end of 2015."
