Aero Lloyd has ordered four A321s and two A320s direct from Airbus Industrie, worth $306 million. In addition the German charter will lease four A320s and six A321s from Los Angeles-based lessor ILFC. Delivery of the V2500 powered aircraft will begin in early 1996.

United Airlines has ordered two Boeing 747-400s and four 757s worth $570 million. Delivery is scheduled between April and June 1996.

LTU has ordered a Boeing 757 and a 767. The German tour operator will take delivery of the aircraft next year.

Comair has ordered two ATR 42-320s and was due to receive both aircraft by the end of June.

Alitalia has ordered 15 Fokker 70s to be operated by regional carrier Avianova. The aircraft deliveries will begin in October. Elsewhere, Air Zimbabwe ordered two Fokker 50s, which were delivered in March and April.

Aircraft Leasing and Management has arranged the lease of three Fokker 50s from Avro to Air Nostrum, an independent start-up based in Valencia.
