Embraer’s Legacy 600 was gracing the AeroShell Square yesterday on a one day visit to AirVenture Launched eight years ago the Legacy  was Embraer’s first model in its growing family of executive jets, it comes to the show with a whole set of new features.

It is now fitted with a slim valance, as well as new seats that are capable fo converting to a full berth. It also has today’s essential  iPod compatibility.

The recessed floor also increases the height by 2” giving a full 6’ cabin.  Plus optional 17” widescreen monitors.

And added to that is an enhanced galley which increases food storage space, has counter-top level ovens, two large retractable tables, larger trash container, dual compartment ice drawer, a relocated sink, an option for a wine chiller and refrigerator as well as a larger water tank.

Luis Carlos Affonso, Embraer’s executive vice president Executive Jets says:  “The Legacy 600 is good value.  It has three cabin zones.  Is it a super mid size or a large aircraft?  I don’t know, but I like the cabin!”

The Legacy sells for $26.93 million in 2009 prices.  Last year Embraer delivered 36 Legacy 600s and expects to deliver between 30 and 35 this year.
