US lessor Air Lease is ordering another dozen Airbus A321neo twinjets.
Airbus has disclosed the agreement during the Paris air show.
No engine selection has been given for the aircraft. Air Lease says the market for the largest member of the re-engined family is "strong".
"Our customers want more aircraft," says chief executive John Plueger.
Air Lease's overall single-aisle orders from Airbus have increased to 209 as a result of the agreement.
