ATR to establish recognised MRO network

Regional aircraft manufacturer ATR is preparing to create a network of approved maintenance, repair and overhaul providers, which it will recommend to its aircraft operators. ATR senior vice-president for customer services Jean-Pierre Cousserans says the audited network will comprise 15-20 maintenance providers worldwide. In locations where ATR aircraft are not currently supported, the manufacturer will help local maintenance providers set up operations. "The development will be step by step," says Cousserans.
