Dubai Airshow 2009 (hall 2, E 8) will break all its previous exhibition space records with the addition of a fourth exhibition hall.

The hall is sponsored and hosted by the Dubai-based international airline, Emirates.

Running from 15-19 Novemberat the Dubai Airport Expo, the biennial airshow is the largest aerospace event in the Middle East and the fastest-growing in the world.

The Emirates hall has attracted new and existing exhibitors, with around 90% of exhibition space already booked.

Alison Weller, director of show organiser F&E Aerospace, expressed her appreciation for the airshow's support, despite the current economic downturn. "The global aviationindustry is undergoing the most challengingperiod in its history and is now looking to the Middle East where aero­pace suppliersand service providers have managed to weather theeconomic maelstrom better than elsewhere.

"I am very grateful to Emirates Airline for taking the lead in supporting the Dubai Airshow by sponsoring and hosting the additional exhibition hall. The Emirates hall will cater to the demand from existing and new exhibitors to the region, eager to revitalise their business," she says.

Exhibitors at Le Bourget are able to book space at other shows organised by F&E Aerospace in Dubai: the Aircraft Interiors Middle Eastshow, co-located with MRO Middle East Conference & Exhibition, from 28 February to 1 March 2010, the Aerospace & Defence Training Show, from 3-4 March 2010; and the Middle East Business Aviation show, from 7-9 December2010.
