Sino Swearingen Aircraft distributors placed 16 orders for the SJ30-2 light business jet at the Paris air show. Ten aircraft were ordered by Sino Swearingen Deutschland, which is jointly owned by Rheinland Air Services and Piper Deutschland.

The remaining six aircraft were ordered by IBCOL General Aviation of Germany. Both companies have been named as authorised distributors for the aircraft. Sino Swearingen Deutschland will serve customers in Germany and the Netherlands, and IBCOL will serve those in several countries in the Balkans and Eastern Europe, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, the Czech Republic and Hungary.

The US firm is installing uprated Williams-Rolls FJ44-2 turbofans on the the first production SJ30-2 at its San Antonio, Texas, plant and expects flight testing to resume by mid-August.
