Toulouse-based Liebherr-Aerospace has landed at the show with the largest nose landing gear unit it has ever built. The 2.7m (8.8ft)-long leg has been designed for Airbus's latest widebody twin, the A350 XWB, and compromises two main structural components - the main fitting and sliding tube - both made of high-strength steel.
