Primus International has won a long-term contract from Airbus to produce passenger doors for the Airbus A330/A340 family.
The doors will be assembled in Auburn, Washington, using components coming primarily from its plant in Suzhou, China, and its University Swaging subsidiary in Washington.
"Primus is an existing supplier to Airbus through its St Bernard division in Farnborough, UK, but this is the first major contract for our North American and China business units," says Larry Loudamy, Primus vice-president Airbus doors.
