Airline Business (chalet D 220-221), a sister publication of Flight Daily News, is to relaunch the World Air Transport Forum (WAF) in 2010.

The conference has for the past 17 years been funded and organised by APG Global Associates president Jean-Louis Baroux, who will continue to work with Airline Business on its promotion,

An independent forum, WAF features senior international executives from airlines, airports and the aviation supply chain. Previous speakers include Emirates chief executive Tim Clark, Dubai airport chief Paul Griffiths, Turkish Airlines director general Temel Kotel, Gulf Air chief Björn Näf, Air France-KLM president and director general Jean-Cyril Spinetta, and SNCF president and chief executive Guillaume Pepy.

The World Air Transport Forum will be held on 27 and 28 October 2010 in Cannes, France.
