China's Comac has unveiled the interior layout of the long-range widebody airliner it is planning to build with Russia's United Aircraft, in a scale model of the twinjet on display at the show.
The model on Comac's stand is equipped with a 280-seat arrangement configured in a three-class layout. It incorporates a forward cabin featuring four-abreast first-class suites, a business cabin with six-abreast seats and a large economy cabin with a nine-abreast layout.

Comac says the planned airliner will have a range of 6,500nm (12,000km). It will incorporate advanced high-bypass-ratio engines – Rolls-Royce and GE Aviation are both in contention – along with more-electric technology and a composite wing and fuselage structure. It is due to fly in 2023 and enter service two years later.
