Pemco World Air Services has teamed with Hamilton Aviation and Wagner Aeronautical to resolve the technical issues which will be raised by the US Federal Aviation Administration airworthiness directives (AD) concerning third-party Boeing 727 freighter conversions.

Pemco is expecting two ADs from the FAA. The first, focusing on the floor-structure issues, is expected soon. The second, to follow shortly after, will address the remaining issues, primarily those of the surround structure.

The modifications, which will be divided into two phases, should be available from August.
