1.      Eurocopter president Patrick Gavin is to succeed Bernard Catteeuw as senior vice president (VP) customer services with Airbus Industrie. Gavin earlier worked at Aerospatiale and ATR. Catteeuw is taking a new position within Airbus.

2.      Pierre-Henri Ricaud has been appointed general secretary of EADS, succeeding Jean-Marie Mir. Ricaud played a key role in the creation of Aerospatiale Matra, having worked for Lagardère.

3.      David Traynham, previously assistant administrator for policy, planning and international aviation at the FAA, is joining Boeing as director, commercial regulatory affairs.

4.      KLM's manager of inflight communications, Sophie Vossenaar, has been elected president of the World Airline Entertainment Association for 2000-2001.

5.      Teledyne Technologies has appointed Robert Naglieri senior VP and chief financial officer (CFO). He most recently served as senior VP and CFO, agriculture, at CNH Global.

6.      Air safety systems specialist Simula has named Bradley Forst president and chief executive officer. Forst has been executive VP since 1998.

7.      Fairchild has named Duncan Koerbel VP for the 928JET programme. He joins from Raytheon where he was programme director for development of the Premier I business jet.

8.      Robert Ruck has been named president of US fasteners distributor Pentacon Aerospace, and senior VP of parent Pentacon. Ruck had served as VP, general manager, business and general aviation with Honeywell Aerospace. He succeeds Donald List.

9.      Northrop Grumman's integrated systems sector has named two new business development directors for the US armed forces. Timothy Beard will be director, business development integrated product team leader for the US Navy and Marine Corps, while John Brooks takes the same post at the USAF.

10.  Online aircraft charter firm CharterHub.com has named Sherman Adams chief operating officer and general counsel.
