Air New Zealand has appointed Ralph Norris as managing director and chief executive (CEO), replacing Gary Toomey, who left last November after Ansett's collapse. Norris is a director of Air New Zealand, and a former managing director and CEO of the ASB Bank, and head of International Financial Services at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Boeing has named Robert Orr president of Boeing Japan. Orr was Motorola's vice-president and director European affairs, working in Japan for the firm. Mark Booth has been named managing director and chief executive of fractional aircraft ownership company NetJets Europe. He has been company co-chairman for five months, after joining from BSkyB where he was CEO. Curtis Robb, formerly senior vice president at Delta Air Lines, has taken over as the company's acting chief information officer, and as acting president and CEO of its subsidiary Delta Technology. Robb replaces Robert DeRodes.
