Aviation support service and instrument repair and maintenance company EADS Sogerma Barfield has appointed Frederic Denise as its chief operating officer. The move is part of the company's plan to reinforce its management team, enhance customer service and diversify its business base. EADS North America subsidiary Sogerma Barfield is based in Miami, with facilities in Phoenix, Arizona and Louisville, Kentucky.
Rono Dutta, former president of United Airlines, will take over as the head of India's private sector airline Air Sahara, operated by the Sahara Group of Companies. The current chief executive of Air Sahara, Uttam Kumar Bose, will now take care of activities of the group's other companies.
