Pratt & Whitney has acquired CTA, a US specialist in robotic systems for precision coating application and material handling. The company has been acquired by P&W's Special Material & Services organisation, which already owns Advanced Systems Technologies, a coating and coating-removal specialist located close to CTA in Huntsville, Alabama.
