Premier Aircraft, Illinois (booth 7039) has been given the green light to install and certificate Safe Flight’s (booth 2239) automatic throttle systems for the Dassault Falcon 50 and all Cessna Citation aircraft.

Speaking at the show yesterday, managing director Ken Goldsmith said that the company will guarantee the first six systems ordered this week at today’s prices.

The company expects to install two a month as soon as the supplemental type certificate is granted, which should be in a year’s time. Premier’s Grand Junction, Colorado facility is also working towards Safe Flight certification for the Hawker 800 series aircraft.

In other show news, the company announced that its East Alton, Illinois facility has been awarded authorization to perform engine upgrades for the Falcon 50 series, for which it has three customers. The center has also been awarded Pro Line 21 certification for the Falcon 50 and is about to complete its third of the type this month.

Premier West Star recently spent $3 million on upgrading its East Alton facility and has added maintenance space at Love Field. It will also open a new hangar complex at Grand Junction, Colorado.

Premier West Star also announced at the show yesterday that all its affiliated locations and businesses have been renamed WestStar Aviation.
