Bombardier CRJ VIP conversion specialist Project Phoenix says it has delivered the first high-specification CRJ200 (7211) to a Macau-based businessman.
The delivery recently occurred at the Flying Colours Corporation completion facility in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.
The aircraft features a 15-seat luxury interior, ipod stations, IFE, Airshow 4000 and Satcom communications. Long range fuel tanks allow for a maximum range of more than 3,000nm, which makes the aircraft capable of operating US transcontinental routes.

After completing import/export formalities in the US, the aircraft operated a west-bound routing through Anchorage, Alaska, Petropavlovsk, Russia and New Chitose, Japan.
Dubai-based Project Phoenix was launched in 2007 by a consortium of former Bombardier executives. At the time executives said the benchmark price for a CRJ with 20,000 flying hours was $17.9 million.
In June company executives explained the global financial crisis has affected the conversion market. Prices for low-time aircraft are roughly $18.5 million compared with $19-$20 million for a similar model a year ago.
