Qantas's first Airbus A380 makes its first flight from Toulouse

Airbus has flown its third A380 customer's first aircraft, with Qantas's MSN014 completing its maiden flight from Toulouse on 25 January.

The Rolls-Royce Trent 900-powered aircraft will undergo cabin furnishing and painting at Hamburg before returning to Toulouse for delivery to Qantas towards the end of the year.

Launch customer Singapore Airlines has received its first two A380s, while Emirates' first aircraft is undergoing cabin furnishing in Hamburg, having been ferried from Toulouse last September.
