At the end of a long-haul flight, the last thing you want is a battle with your seat.

Awkward leg rests and back rests could be a thing of the past, thanks to Mesag aircraftparts. The Swiss company is using its stand at Hall 4/C11 to showcase its latest innovation, the N2-LOK ES leg rest.

Electrical

Non-electrical leg rests in aircraft can be hard to push back into the stow position, especially for smaller passengers.

By increasing the airflow inside the cylinder, Mesag has reduced the force necessary to push the leg rest back.

The company has also improved the operating switch for back rests.

The traditional 'push switch' was due for a re-vamp at 50 years old, and Mesag has developed a sliding switch system which is much easier for the elderly, handicapped and children to use.
