The 2,000th Beech Baron 58, an aircraft model first manufactured in 1969, is now on the production line at Raytheon Aircraft's Wichita plant and is expected to be rolled out later this year. The Beech Baron, with more than 6,000 built, continues to hold its position as leader in the piston twin-engine class. Recognised for its strong construction, speed and reliability it provides unprecedented comfort in a light piston-powered twin, says Raytheon.
