Irish budget carrier Ryanair has firmed another 13 Boeing 737-800 options, which will take the carrier's firm orders for the type to 172.
The airline states in its third-quarter results today that the options were firmed in January, under the terms of its 2005 agreement with the manufacturer.
Ryanair says the aircraft will be delivered in its 2011 fiscal year. The agreement will increase its fleet size, net of disposals, to 292 by 2012.
In the nine months to 31 December 2008, the carrier disposed of eight 737-800s and obtained a balance of sales proceeds of €169.6 million ($216 million).
