Bombardier’s Safety Standdown has been held annually in Wichita, Kansas since 1996. This year sees the inaugural European Safety Standdown scheduled for 25 May at the Crowne Plaza Geneva Hotel and follows on from the end of the show.
It is developed primarily for professionals in the business aviation community and is the first of its kind in Europe. “Safety is a top priority for business aviation and a focus at EBACE this year. This superb initiative can benefit all European operators – indeed the entire aviation community,” says Brian Humphries, EBAA chief executive, “I encourage pilots and flight department managers to extend their visit to EBACE and attend the first-ever European event to discover first-hand how they may apply the latest intelligence about safety to their operations.”
