Sikorsky confirms that it has completed a deal with Greece to supply two more S-70 International Seahawk helicopters to the Hellenic Navy.

Export licences for the craft were granted in the run-up to show week.

Greece already operates six S-70B-6 helicopters for naval missions.

The Greek variant is named the Aegean Hawk.

The S-70B-6 is designed for both anti-submarine and anti-surface unit warfare with its integrated suite of dipping sonar, search radar, electronic support measures and the Penguin anti-ship missile.

Financial details of the contract have not been disclosed, but Sikorsky says it includes spare parts and additional training for aircrew and is a direct commercial sale using US foreign military finance.
