Fiji's Air Pacific has signed a five-year deal with Pratt & Whitney (P&W) to maintain the airline's fleet of PW4056 engines.
The work will be performed at Eagle Services Asia, P&W's Singapore-based MRO joint venture with SIA Engineering.
"Having world-class shops close to customers like Air Pacific helps to reduce time and cost related to overhauls," says Tom Mayes, vice president, P&W Global Engine Centre. "PW4000 engines continue to be an important part of Asia-Pacific travel routes."
The PW4056 engines power Air Pacific's two Boeing 747-400 aircraft, according to Flightglobal's ACAS database.
