The Spanish army has received its first three of 24 Eurocopter Tiger attack helicopters, with an initial eight pilots also having completed training in France. Madrid's first six Tigers will be delivered in an escort configuration, but will later be upgraded to a multi-role standard, in common with 18 aircraft to be assembled in Albacete from 2008.
