ST Aerospace has signed a long-term agreement with UTC Aerospace Systems to provide MRO services for Boeing 787 nacelle systems for both the Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 and General Electric GEnx engines.
According to the agreement, ST Aerospace will offer a comprehensive range of nacelle MRO services using UTC Aerospace Systems' repair processes for customers worldwide. ST Aerospace will invest in a wide range of repair and overhaul capabilities, and will maintain an inventory of aircraft components and parts to support 787 operators worldwide.
UTC Aerospace Systems president of aerostructures Marc Duvall says: "This agreement with ST Aerospace is just one more way that we can help support the continued entry into service of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner for airline operators around the globe. Over the years, we have developed an intimate understanding of our customers' requirements for high-quality MRO services with rapid turnaround times, which enables us to both respond to and anticipate their needs.
