Sukhoi is to conduct an Asian tour with one of its Superjet 100 prototypes in order to attract interest in the aircraft from customers in the region.
It will initially display the flight-test twinjet, number 95005, at the Kazhakh capital, Astana, on 3 May when it attends the Kadex-2012 exhibition.
But it will fly the aircraft to five other countries - Pakistan, Myanmar, Indonesia, Laos and Vietnam - with respective stops in Karachi, Naypyidaw, Jakarta, Vientiane and Hanoi.
Sukhoi says the tour will last until 14 May and cover 8,375nm (15,510km).
"Having performed commercial flights for almost a year our aircraft has shown remarkable results both in safety and operational efficiency," says Vladimir Prisyazhnyuk, president of the airframer's civil aircraft division.
