TAM is to order 37 more Airbus aircraft for delivery through to 2010. The fast-growing Brazilian carrier has signed a memorandum of understanding with Airbus for 15 A319s, 16 A320s and six A330s. The narrowbodies will replace its Fokker 100s, which will be phased out by 2010. By then, the airline’s fleet will have grown from around 96 aircraft at the end of this year to 127 aircraft.
