Russian business aviation holding company Moscow Sky has appointed TAT Industries to convert three Fokker 100s into VIP configuration as demand for large-cabin business aircraft transport explodes within Russia.
The privately owned aircraft, formerly operated by bankrupt Canadian carrier Jetsgo, will be equipped with three compartments housing first-class seating for up to 16 passengers and a 12-seat crew area at the rear. The aircraft will be available for charter at the end of the year.
Dinard, France-based TAT and Moscow Sky say the Fokkers could be the first of several business aircraft to be completed and operated by the two companies.
The three Fokker 100s will be operated under a management contract by Vienna, Austria-based Moscow Sky subsidiary International Jet Management.
