The Thai government has taken delivery of the first of two Airbus Military C212-400s.
The twin-engined turboprops will be operated by the country's ministry of agriculture and co-operatives and used mainly for "rain making" missions in the drought-affected country.
The ministry already operates 11 of the types as well as two CN235s and will receive the second Honeywell TPE-331-12J-powered C212-400 early next year.
