Helicopter-engine manufacturer Turbomeca signed two contracts here yesterday – part of its current strategy to increase its supplier base.

The first is a six-year deal with Texas-based Wyman Gordon is for the supply of nickel-base super alloy used in the manufacture of turbine disks for the Arriel and Makila engines.

The second contract was signed with PCC Airfoils. Covering a five-year period, it involves the casting of HP turbine blades for Arriel, Arrius and Makila engines
