USMC officers face action over false records probe Eight unidentified US Marine Corps officers implicated in the alleged falsification of Bell Boeing MV-22 Osprey maintenance records have been charged with violating military rules, and could face letters of reprimand, loss of wages and confinement to quarters. The Article 15 hearing could progress to dismissal of charges, imposition of non-judicial punishment or a military court martial. The charges follow a Department of Defense investigation, which concluded that the commander of the USMC's first MV-22 squadron had tampered with the maintenance records.
