In a week when Eurofighter is battling to save its Saudi sale through BAE Systems, a reminder of the Typhoon's capabilties has emerged as an insider has posted a promotional video clip on a popular video sharing website.
UK defence companies have written to the UK's trade ministry to ask for a speedy resolution into an ongoing corruption inquiry into the Al-Yamamah deal between the BAE and the Saudi government. The middle Eastern kingdom has reportedly threatened to pull out of a deal to acquire Typhoons as a result of the probing of senior Saudi officials.
