Vought Aircraft Industries is the latest firm to partner Boeing on the Sonic Cruiser, after similar deals with Alenia of Italy and Japan Aircraft Industries. Vought, which has supplied components for Boeing commercial aircraft since 1968, will provide advanced materials technology expertise to the Sonic Cruiser Technology Development team.
