Aeromexico has reached a maintenance agreement with Lufthansa Technik covering component support for Boeing 737 aircraft.
The pact, which runs for 10 years, extends to 34 737-700 and -800 twin-jets. Lufthansa Technik says it has already started providing support for the aircraft.
Aeromexico will hand all component supply efforts to the German maintenance company, including pool access, repair and overhaul. The airline says the agreement will reduce its material ownership costs and ensure "reliable service".
