Canadian aerospace services company Aveos has secured new business from Mexican carrier Interjet for the repair of Airbus A320 components.
The five year contract includes access to an inventory pool for Interjet and the placement of main base stock in Toluca, Mexico.
Preliminary work under the agreement began in late December 2010, said Aveos. The repairs and overhauls are being performed at the company's new component repair site in Montreal.
Aveos explained the contract has the potential for expanded work as Interjet grows its fleet of A320s from 24 to 40 aircraft by November 2012.
