SECURITY Extensive analysis of the behaviour of security personnel at airports has revealed a gap between procedures and actual behaviour when recognising and acting upon a potential threat. Co-ordinator Alan Kirschenbaum says failure to follow procedures is usually the result of lack of skills or training.
