FUJI HEAVY First-half aerospace segment operating income slumped by 78.4% to ¥5 billion ($61.5 million) as sales decreased nearly 12% to ¥374 billion for the period to 30 September. Fuji Heavy Industries supplies aircraft programmes including Boeing 787 and 747, Airbus A380, Hawker 4000 and Eclipse 500, as well as the Japanese military. Fortunately for the group bottom line, growth was strong in its main business - making Subaru cars.
