PEOPLE moves

European Space Agency director general Jean-Jacques Dordain will continue for a third term, to June 2015, and UK Space Agency acting chief executive David Williams will chair the ESA Council for the year from 1 July.

Angela Garber, formerly with Airline Spares America, has joined A J Walter Aviation as VP sales North America. Chris Dailey has gone to Jackson Square Aviation to establish a European office.

Pedro Morenes Eulate and Daniel Garcia-Guelbenzu are now executive chairman and general manager at missiles maker MBDA and will establish Spanish operations from Madrid, while Fred Harrison, formerly with Alliant Techsystems, has joined as VP technology.

Bob Gower has been named VP Boeing military aircraft India. His replacement as VP F/A-18 and EA-18 programmes is 26-year Boeing veteran Kory Mathews.

OnAir chief executive Benoit Debains is returning to Airbus; he has been replaced by former Airbus senior VP and head of future programmes, Ian Dawkins.

NASA veterans Lawrence Thomas and Charles Stegemoeller have been named manager and deputy manager of the Constellation Moon-return programme.
