Le Castellet airport on France's Côte d'Azur is making it easier for pilots to land and take off from there in bad weather.

Tests of the new GPS/GNSS navigation procedures began in February, and will be fully in place by the end of 2013.

Le Castellet is popular with high-net-worth tourists holidaying in the south of France. A helicopter service is available to take passengers from the airport to resorts such as St Tropez.

The airport says it offers extensive hangarage parking for aircraft as large as Boeing Business Jets.
